Interested in running for office? The DeKalb County Democratic Committee will be qualifying candidates to run for county offices, beginning March 2, 9:00 am and ending March 6 noon at the DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections, 4380 Memorial Drive, Decatur, GA 30032. (Room to be determined.) A notary will be available on site.

DeKalb Dems reluctantly accepted the resignation of our chair, Jennifer Young, at our November monthly meeting. Jennifer was a fierce advocate of GOTV efforts and was instrumental in making DeKalb Dems more visible in DeKalb County. We wish Jennifer the best, and we will continue to execute on her vision.

DeKalb Dems at Pride! Get your t shirt!

The Atlanta Pride Parade is happening on October 14th. We’re lining up on West Peachtree near the Civic Center Marta Station near Ivan Allen. We will be there at 9:30am to secure our spot in Section D. If you get there early, maybe you can do some canvassing in the crowd. 🙂 If you are attending, please make sure you’re there by 11:30 because the parade steps off at noon sharp.
