The State House Democratic caucus held their leadership elections yesterday—here are the results:

Minority Leader- James Beverly (Macon)
Whip- David Wilkerson (Powder Springs)
Chair- Billy Mitchell (Stone Mountain)
Vice-Chair- Erica Thomas (Austell)
Secretary- Park Cannon (Atlanta)
Treasurer- Mary Robichaux (Roswell)
Chief Deputy Whip- Debra Bazemore (South Fulton)

The new Minority Leader Beverly (former Minority Chair, replacing Bob Trammell who lost his seat) beat out William Boddie (former Minority Whip) for Minority Leader.  We would like to congratulate Rep. Billy Mitchell from the Dekalb Delegation on his election as Chair.
