DeKalb Democrats, we are now in overtime when it comes to voting. Early Voting starts Monday, December 14. You can easily find a list of Early Voting options by visiting georgiademocrat.org/early-voting. If you’re voting by mail, there are several ballot drop boxes throughout the county. Click here for a list of drop boxes and click here for a list of brand new ballot drop boxes. Early voting ends Thursday, December 31. Please be aware of holiday hours.

Advance In-Person Voting Begins October 12!

You can vote in person before November! Georgia hosts several days of early voting that you can do in-person. This includes weekend voting. Check out your calendar Monday through Friday between October 12 and October 30 and see what day works best for you. The lines tend to be the lightest mid-week, around Wednesday or Thursday.  We have Saturday and Sunday voting too! DeKalb County Elections Call to Action

In response to public outcry over the November 2018 mid-term election, DeKalb County Commissioners hired consultants to do a process review of the Elections Department. We now have the consultants’ report that addresses the problems that DeKalb voters face, and recommends solutions for avoiding the problems in the future. Implementing these recommendations before the general election is critical. However, the DeKalb County Elections Department has been slow to adjust and has pushed back on implementing the consultants’ recommendations.

Early and Absentee Voting Information

Do your part to help elect Jon Ossoff and Flip the 6th on June 20th!

REQUEST A MAIL-IN (ABSENTEE) BALLOT
1. Fill out this Absentee ballot application (Georgia has no-excuse absentee voting by mail, so anyone who is a registered voter in the 6th is eligible to vote by mail!).
2. Mail, fax, or email your completed application by Friday, June 16. However, we recommend turning them in at least a week before to make sure you get your ballot in time. Also, make sure you use two stamps when mailing your application back.
3. Receive your absentee ballot by mail. You can check the status of your application and your ballot at https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do
4. Return your completed ballot by mail no later than Election Day, Tuesday, June 20.
